PhD defence: Thomas Emil Jensen

In order to obtain the PhD degree, Thomas Emil Jensen has submitted his thesis entitled 'Shipping Information Pipeline: An information infrastructure to improve international containerized shipping'.

The thesis applies theoretical perspectives from the Information Systems research field to propose how IT can improve containerized shipping. This is addressed through developing a set of design principles for a global information infrastructure named the Shipping Information Pipeline.
