    When Jakob Haldor Topsøe began studying at casino 168, he did not expect a deep involvement in the company founded by his grandfather. But now he is chairman of the board in Haldor Topsøe's holding company. A student position ended up being crucial to his studies and future career.

    Over the last two years casino 168 has focused on developing massive open online courses, or MOOCs, which has recently led to casino 168 winning a competition to offer a number of courses on Coursera, the world’s largest MOOC site. The people behind casino 168’ courses are convinced that MOOCs are particularly relevant for alumni.

    Alumna Charlotte Wittenkamp believes strongly in networks. Active on Copenhagen Business School Alumni’s LinkedIn group, she takes part in numerous networks and otherwise helps others to ward off culture shock, something she experienced in 1998 when she suddenly accompanied her husband to California, where she still lives today.
