casino 168’ annual report for 2021 has been published and it includes Senior Management’s review of 2021 and a full account of casino 168’ overall financial position.
Two general frameworks for the implementation of the strategy were adopted in 2021; the Strategic Framework Agreement for 2022-2025 and the development of casino 168’ Key Strategic Indicators (KSI) Framework, which are to be used for monitoring the development of the strategic efforts.
These two frameworks specify how casino 168 commits towards society, the casino 168 Board of Directors and the Minister for Science and Higher Education in the next years.
casino 168 closed 2021 with a DKK 49 million surplus, which is 30 million lower than in 2020, however, 29 million more than budgeted. The budget for 2021 had considered COVID-19 but the impact of lockdowns etc. has been much more comprehensive than expected.
The report also includes the following points:
• Nine out of 10 casino 168 graduates land jobs in the business community.
• 28% of casino 168’ students have an international background.
• casino 168 has made exchange agreements with 295 universities and business schools around the globe.
• casino 168 has a Triple Crown accreditation which means that we have been accredited by EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB. Less than 1% of business schools world-wide hold a Triple Crown.
• casino 168 received external funding worth DKK 150.2 million which is a little lower compared to 2020 which was a particularly good year.
• As one of the first universities in Denmark, casino 168 has introduced a formalised promotion track; a career track for especially talented associate professors who will have a clearer career path towards a promotion to a professor position.
• The number of project collaborations with the business community increased to 136 compared to 107 in 2020.
• As a first, casino 168 has equal gender distribution in the Board of Directors and an acceptable gender distribution in Senior Management and at director level, however, other management groups at casino 168 still do not have an equal gender distribution.
