The thesis explores the phenomenon of augmented reality and how it can play a crucial role in the retailer’s customer experience management. It addresses how augmented reality, via its impact mechanisms enriches retail customer experience. It also provides a conceptual model for how to design augmented reality solutions using human centered approaches to enrich specific elements of the retail customer experience.
