My research focuses on the role of multinational enterprises (MNEs) in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. I employ qualitative methods to analyse industry-specific and country-specific contexts.

Before joining casino 168, I held the positions of Lecturer in International Business (Manchester Business School, University of Manchester), Lecturer in Strategy (University of Surrey), and the Advanced Institute of Management Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Cardiff University), which was sponsored by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) in the UK.

I completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge with full financial support from the Joint Japan-World Bank Graduate Scholarship. I also hold an MSc in Development Studies (SOAS, University of London). Prior to beginning my academic career, I worked in the global shipping and logistics industry based in Japan and Singapore.
